This is a next level breakfast or excellent dessert. Made using all natural whole foods and with no added sugar (excluding anything you choose to use to sweeten your granola), it’s a great substitute for ice cream!
Mussel, Fennel, Chilli and Zucchini Linguini
The zucchini in this recipe also acts as a replacement for some of the linguini so you’re increasing the vegetables and lowering the amount of simple carbs all in one swoop. To be honest I’m much more about the increasing the vegetables than worrying about carbs!

It’s been a serious cold snap in Melbourne this week and it has me craving ramen and comfort food. But it’s Melbourne, so the week ahead is actually looking nice and warmish so I probably won’t be starting on soup just yet… I’ll ease into that sort of thing with curry 😉
Breakfast Tacos with Red Papaya Salsa
    The amount of times I’ve served these and heard, ‘Papaya, that’s like another word for pawpaw right?’ makes me want to start this post by saying unequivocally no. Super different fruit and flavour. And the delicate sweetness of papaya and the sort of mango like texture make it perfect for salsa.

The last couple of weeks have been so fun but have certainly lacked down time! With catering, recipe development and teaching workshops, on top of refurbishing a whole lot of mid century furniture for the little side line my brother and I do with @hausevintagefurniture, it’s certainly be full to the brim. But no actual complaints, I love having loads of different things going on it keeps me feeling inspired and excited by the different stuff I get to do.
Chilli Cashew Dip
This is such a yummy and versatile dip and a great alternative to dairy options. Cashews blend so well once they’ve been soaked in water and make creamy luxurious dips, sauces and treats. This is a plant food version of a chilli cream cheese dip and it’s delicious.
Fresh Pea Falafel Hummus Bowls
These are so easy. Like ridiculously easy. As long as you have a food processor you can make them in mere minutes. I even made the hummus myself as I was getting the food processor out and I didn’t even need to clean it between tasks. So efficient. I really looooove being efficient. My true nerd colours are shining through right now.

This week has been a struggle from one illness to the next but I think I’m finally coming out of it! Could not have been a better time for a long weekend. I have been lax on the eating and cooking because of said illness but got right back into this weekend so I have yummy things coming at you next week.
