Meal Plans Week 71

Wow, it’s been a crazy busy weekend with a delightful baby shower and one housemate moving in and another moving out of our lovely house! Get ready for two new fur friends to make frequent appearances on my Instagram stories:) And lots more delicious food with anew foodie living in the house. Speaking of delicious food… meal plans!

As I write this it’s about six degrees so salads will not be making an appearance this week. I’m all about things that are going to warm you from the inside out. I’m thinking soups, curries, roasted things, stuff with chilli in it. What’s your go to dish when it’s cold outside?

If you say your go to dish is a cocktail on the beach as you’ve escaped winter for some sort of warmer climate then we can’t be friends anymore. See ya. Byeeeee.

My go to recipes are below, we have the omnivore plan and the vego plan. Let’s get to it already.

Plan A

Day 1: Vegetarian Tikka Masala, what’s more warming than a curry?

Day 2: Thai Red Curry Noodle Soup, Ramen style. When you’re looking for something to warm you up this is a dream.

Day 3: Cauliflower melts, these make the perfect light midweek summer. serve with a green salad or favourite steamed greens dressed in lemon on the side.

Day 4: Snapper, Leek and Broccolini Orecchiette – easy enough to make for a mid week meal and seriously delicious.

Day 5: One Pan Roasted Chicken with Lentils and Farro, an easy go to with minimal washing up.

Plan B

Day 1: Roast Pumpkin Spaghetti, this creamy roast pumpkin sauce has zero cream in it!

Day 2: Vegetarian Tikka Masala, one of my favourite easy curries to make from scratch.

Day 3: Creamy Vegan Mushroom and Thyme Soup, because mushroom season is upon us.

Day 4: Chipotle Tofu Bowls, the spices in this will surely warm you up!

Day 5: Cauliflower Melts, these fluffy delicious open faced toasties are a dream.

This weeks baking project: Lemon Creme Brûlée Bars. The perfect way to use up the abundance of lemons.
