Meal Plans 29

I’ve been working on site for so much of this week I haven’t had a lot of time in the kitchen… looking forward to spending more time in there this week! Cooking these delicious things…

This week I thought I’d also share what I’ve been reading, watching and listening to during Melbourne’s never ending lockdown.

Podcasts:

The new season of Invisibilia – always love this one

Nice White Parents – as a teacher, who once ran a select entry program, with nieces and nephews currently in the American school system this one is of interest on many levels

The High Low, always because it’s like chatting to old friends

Reading

Why I’m no Longer Talking to White People about Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge is helping me open my eyes a little wider.

The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer hasn’t totally grabbed me yet, some days I’m into it other days I don’t want to read it but that might be more about my mental lethargy currently.

Watching

Binge watching Grey’s Anatomy because it’s comfort tv.

Also re watching the Wire, it’s been ten years and Nick hasn’t watched it before

Punkee recaps of the bachelor are better than actually watching it. For those in other countries, the Aussie version of the bachelor is mortifying.

And now to the food…

Breakfast

Hummus Breakfast Plate, just to change things up.

Banana, Peanut Butter and Jam ‘Parfait’

Lunch

Miso and Ginger Tofu Curry, simple and delicious.

Warm Cauliflower, Green Bean and Chickpea Salad the weather is warming up and warm salads are a step in the spring direction.

Dinner

Almond Crumbed King George Whiting, serve with salad and roast potatoes.

Sundried Tomato and Roast Red Capsicum Pasta, this is rich, easy and delicious.

Chicken, Cashew and Green Bean Noodles, an all time favourite.

Cauliflower and Hummus Pita pockets everyday please.
