Triple Chocolate Coconut Slice
This slice is next level. My partner said it was like a chocolate bar but better. He was also correct when he described it as like that coconut slice your mum used to make but topped with chocolate mousse. Because that’s 100% it. It’s a super chocolatey version of coconut slice topped with a thick mousse like chocolate coconut ganache. It’s dreamy.
Simple Red Lentil Dahl
I have lots of lovely dahl recipes on this blog but this one is made with just dry ingredients to flavour it, especially handy when you’re low on fresh ginger, garlic and onion like I was when a curry craving hit.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mum’s out there! Hopefully by Monday you might be able to see your families in Victoria, I am so looking forward to being able to have a family dinner again. With that in mind, this week’s meal plans are full of my favourite things to cook.

I am oh so into warm crunchy salads at the moment. Tossing roast potatoes with a zesty dressing, tangy goats cheese and fresh vegetables is everything I want to be eating right now. It also has the added benefit of involving me turning the oven on which warms up my chilly kitchen!
Double Chocolate Banana Bread
I love this banana bread, it’s richly chocolatey and studded with walnuts. It’s also a very easy one bowl baking project, and who doesn’t love banana bread?!
