It’s been another week of holiday and I’ve been spending it in Berlin and London exploring and, well, eating!
7 Ways With: Kale
Yep that’s right, the 7 Ways With series is back. I like to save it for when I’m away as I’m in the kitchen a whole lot less so putting together these compilations is far more practical. Plus they’re a great way to revisit old delicious recipes that we all may have forgotten about.
Pork Schnitzel with a Roasted Wedged Slaw and Herb Dressing
The crumb on these lean pork schnitzels has thyme leaves and hemp seeds in it and it gives the most delicious savoury nutty flavour. I Only ever make schnitzel when I have stale bread, and it’s usually sourdough as it’s my favourite. The combination or sourdough crumbs, thyme and hemp seeds adds so much flavour.
Meal Plans Week 118
It’s my first weekend in London and I’m so excited about it! I’m off to Berlin on Monday and then back in London for another week and a half.
Gluten Free Triple Chocolate Brownie
This brownie is a next level kind of treat, it’s perfectly fudgey and rich in chocolate flavour thanks to the three types of chocolate used to make it. It’s also loaded with butter so eat it as a treat not like a bliss ball!
Grilled Eggplant with Hummus and Yoghurt Flatbread
This is one of my favourite meals to make, the kind of thing that comes together in a little dance in the kitchen. While the eggplant is ‘sweating’ you make your quick flatbread, while the dough rests you make your hummus, and while your eggplant cooks you chop your salad. It’s easy time management rather than complicated multitasking and I just love to be efficient ha.
Meal Plans Week 117
These are the last meal plans I’ll be sharing from Melbourne for awhile! It’s time to escape the cold and head somewhere warm.
Gluten Free Banana Bread
This banana bread is so good, I’ve been working on the recipe for a while and I’m super happy with this version of it. It uses almond meal and oat flour for a nutrient rich bread with a lovely texture and loads of banana flavour.
Chicken, Thyme, Carrot and Tahini Tray Bake with Caramlised Lemon
This is one of the simplest and tastiest dinners in the world. There’s no tricky knife work involved, minimal dishes, and all the flavour. It’s a must make.
Meal Plans Week 116
I have been a little light on the recipe posts this week – in major holiday prep mode and it’s a serious distraction to the usual schedule. But I also have been testing a whole lot of delicious new recipes for the blog for the next few weeks that I’m super excited about.
