The texture of these tacos is insane! So crispy and delicious. The chickpeas also make them super filling which is always a win. And the spice mix? That brings a world of flavour to these tacos!

These are inspired by a special I had at Yafo in Berlin. It was deep fried pieces of pita, topped with pulled lamb, feta and pickled things. It was incredible. This is a lighter vegetarian take that’s really easy to make.
This salad is so simple and so good. Crisp green lettuce generously dressed in a creamy and spicy dressing and then covered in golden bread crumbs and freshly grated parmesan. This is another one inspired by eating at Jon and Vinny’s in LA – I was clearly obsessed with that meal. I’ve tried to keep the dressing lighter by making it yoghurt based and it’s still super delicious.
This autumnal dahl is both comforting and fresh thanks to the coconut and lime flavours through it. It’s mild in terms of heat level and fragrant with the toasted cumin stirred through at the end. It comes together with very little effort so is a perfect midweek meal and the leftovers can be freezed for lunches.
If you’ve never roasted a radish you have to try this recipe. It changes their texture and mellows out the flavour a little and they’re so good. Especially with the creamy avocado and the fresh and simple dressing. This salad was made for consuming on warm evenings or afternoons or just scattered over some crunchy sourdough.
Hands down the best side ever. If you’re not into the mouth numbing Szechuan pepper thing then just leave it. But also, stop being a wuss 😉
I’ve made broccoli fritters before but I love the ginger in these ones, it’s a fresh immune boosting vibe for this chilli season and I’m all about it. The best part about this dish is definitely in the combination of fritters and cucumber and peanut salad though. so good, so much flavour and texture and super easy to make!
It’s that time of the week again! Time to get life sorted for the week ahead… or just thinking about it while you laze around enjoying your Sunday. I’m planning on spending some time recipe testing so I can get new content up asap… but that is my version of relaxing some times. I need to start yoga.
And it’s February! How’s the year going so far? Such an annoying question, because we all love to be reminded of how fast time passes don’t we? This week, for the majority of them, I’ve tried to make the recipes quick and easy to throw together after work. The whole making things easier for people when it comes to cooking healthier food is totally my vibe this year.
