I’m off on another adventure in a week and madly scrabbling to get everything done before then! Such as this meal plan post, and spending time with my adorable baby niece who has just arrived from South Africa, and getting all excited about my brother’s wedding next week. So it’s all go, thus meal planning is a must to keep me on track.

It’s time to prepare for the week ahead and as it’s basically Spring now I’m so ready to embrace the new produce that’s arriving on the shelves. But in a way that’s still going to keep me warms as Melbourne’s weather lags behind it’s foliage.

I just realised this week that I only have 3 weeks left in Melbourne before I go. Which also means 3 more weeks of winter recipes (even if the signs of spring have begun) before I’m back and it’s spring time! I’m going to use this meal plans post to make a bit of a commitment today. A commitment to something I’ve been feeling a little uncomfortable about for a while. You know that feeling you get when your attitude towards something and your behaviour don’t match up? It’s called cognitive dissonance and we all experience it a lot. We can use this feeling in one of two ways: we can change the attitude (decide we don’t actually care about the thing we said we cared about) or change our behaviour. I’m going to change my behaviour, and that’s never that easy.

I’m going to ban myself from talking about the weather at the start of these posts. Have I already failed by announcing that? Oh well, from here on out anyway! This week I’m feeling seafood and greens. I’m going a little lighter on the noodles as I really got obsessed last week! Not abandoning them completely thoguh because I am who I am.

Wow this week has been an amazing blur thus the slight delay in the Meal Plans post! This week I catered a wedding for the first time with my amazing friend Georgia from byharveyharvey and it was such a wonderful if hectic week! But the meal plans have arrived and they’re GOOD!
