This tastes just like strawberry milk… but is way more nutritious! A super quick smoothie for when you’re craving something sweet and pretty. The perfect summer afternoon pick me up or shared between two it makes for a pretty delicious breakfast dessert too.
Breakfast dessert should definitely be a thing. When I can’t decide if I want sweet or savoury I usually end up going with 1 piece of avocado toast and sharing a smoothie. Banana or green smoothies are usually my go to, but this one has been making a few more appearances lately. I made it look pretty for the picture but you don’t need to do that stuff, just chuck it in a glass and drink up. Summer is all about cold deliciousness like this.
1 large serve or two small.
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup milk (dairy, almond or coconut all work)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbs oats or psyllium husks (available online!), I actually added bee pollen the other day and that was great!
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and drink!
