I’m feeling indecisive. I knew all the flavours i wanted to eat but I couldn’t decided whether i wanted to have a pretty salmon with sauce and salad thing or if a quinoa bowl was more my vibe. So I made this dish both ways to see what was best. Turns out both are best, depending on level of hunger/patience for plating. This means that you’re getting a double whammy today. 1 recipe, 2 incarnations. Lucky you.
This citrus and hot smoked salmon salad is full of fresh herbs and drizzled with the yummiest soy and ginger dressing. It’s all zingy freshness and definitely breaks up the whole heavy winter dishes vibe I’ve been going down lately. My booty was definitely begging for a salad.
These bowls are filled with different vegetables, textures and flavours. Not to mention that perfectly cooked ocean trout. And that coriander yoghurt is my new obsession. I want to eat it with everything! The other day i just spread it on toast, is that weird? Don’t care, it tasted so good!
Well hey there summer! Time for long nights sharing food with friends in the evening sun – and these are just perfect for that. The fresh prawns, creamy avocado and sweet corn are amped up with a little chilli and lime to make for a super tasty snack or starter. As a bonus they’re super easy to make too.
The perfect thing when you want something, light, quick and nourishing. Green vegetables and omega 3 rich ocean trout make for a well balanced meal, especially when you serve it with some brown rice to soak up the delicious sesame and ginger dressing. You can have a healthy and oh so tasty dinner ready in about 20 minutes, and that’s a win in my books.
