WAFFLES! I haven’t posted a waffle recipe since last year so thought it was probably about time. These are light and fluffy with a crisp exterior and they’re gluten free and dairy free. You could make them vegan by following the suggestions just before the recipe. And just in time for Easter brunch!
A super simple make ahead breakfast that will put a smile on your face in the morning. I love peanut butter in both sweet and savoury dishes, and this slightly sweet dessert is given a nutty protein kick with a good dollop of roasted peanut butter.
I love choc mint, it’s a child hood favourite of mine. Whether it be in mint choc chip ice cream or a mint slice, or after dinner mints it’s always been a favourite combination of mine.
These aren’t your usual lamingtons. The title probably gives that away! They’re gluten free, refined sugar free, made from wholesome ingredients and include a yummy layer of raspberry chia jam in the middle. I’m particularly proud of the chocolate glaze that I think I’ll be using on many baked things to come! Although they are a healthier version they’re also super delicious – for real!
I’ve posted a cookie dough bliss ball recipe before. Those one’s were a nut free version and they were yummy but I’ve got to say, roast almonds make these so much better! Both are vegan and refined sugar free.
I’m sort of obsessed with coconut based treats. I always have been. Bounty Bars and Cherry Ripes are two of my favourite chocolate bars. So having already tried my hand at a healthier version of the Bounty Bar I thought it was time to to tackle the cherry ripe.
It’s Christmas this week! And this means that every meal I eat will be Christmas themed!!! Totally joking! But I will be eating this nice cream frequently both with and without that topping because it’s DELICIOUS. And super easy.
Let the Christmas ‘baking’ continue! So there’s probably some sort of copyright problem with me calling these Bounty balls. But they are so reminiscent of a bounty, and it used to be my favourite chocolate bar as a kid so that’s a huge compliment. These little chocolates are ridiculous easy to make and way healthier than the original.
These taste just like gingerbread but they’re waaaay better for you. Why gingerbread because: It’s Christmas this month! This month! That’s so soon. I LOVE Christmas, I love the time spent with family friends, how everyone is in a good mood, Mariah Carey’s Christmas album playing on repeat (haha, no shame)… and the food.
These brownies are fudgy and delicious, higher in protein than a regular brownie and vegan to boot. They’re still a treat food though. A very, delicious, chocolatey, fudgy treat food. And they have a secret ingredient.
